Erykah Badu Featuring Little Wayne - "Jump Up In The Air (Stay There)"

It's like each of the musical paths I took while growing up have converged in this one song/video. "Callin' Tyrone" just had a love child with "Bling Bling".

This song is proof that Ms. Badu is a true child of Hip Hop culture. She doesn't allow herself to fit into any one facet of the genre. Erykah can appreciate someone like Weezy using her name in a song just for the sole cleverness of the lyric. In turn, she isn't one of those people who divides artists between "Underground" and "Mainstream".

Keep you're eye out for the 2:05 mark. Peep how fucking CLEVER these guys are with that transition. Subtlety at it's best.
