Unlike most music documentaries that tell the stories from the music scene or music artists themselves, Behind the Suit And Tie tells the stories of those that sit behind the record label and share their stories on how the digital age and downloading is affecting the music industry. Those that worked in the heavy metal industry for decades such as Brian Slagel (Metal Blade Records) and Doug Keogh (Roadrunner Records) among others also respond to tough questions on how the industry is ran and what artists have to do today and in this age.
